The Latin American Music Center is proud to be a collaborative partner in offering courses that contribute a minor in Latin American and Carribean Music at the undergraduate and graduate (doctoral) level.
The minor in Latin American and Caribbean music provides advanced training in the history and performance of various types of Latin American and Caribbean music, ranging from colonial era, ninteenth- and twentieth-century art music repertoires, to contemporary traditional, folk, and popular music genres.
Courses counting toward this minor are hosted through a variety of departments across campus, including many in the Jacobs School of Music and taught through the Latin American Music Center and its affiliated faculty and staff.
